A leaked screenshot is the latest evidence that at least one variant of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with a WQHD (2560×1440) display. Obtained by Dutch website SamsungGalaxyS5abonnement.com, the same image also shows that the display will measure 5.25 inches (133.25 millimeters) and come with a 560 pixels per inch screen density.
The anonymous source that provided the image used Quick System Info Pro, an app that provides system information about Android device. It’s too bad that it’s the only image they provided.
Past rumours about the Galaxy S5 suggest that Samsung will offer two very different variants of its next flagship. A premium variant looks to come with WQHD (2560×1440) display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974AC) processor. A standard variant will come with a Full HD (1920×1080) display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It could also sport the unannounced 1.5GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 5422 processor paired with an ARM Mali-T628 GPU if one set of benchmarks are to be believed.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S5 at its next Unpacked event on February 24. A teaser suggests that the Galaxy S5 will come with an updated version of TouchWiz.
