The latest signs suggest that Google is still putting final touches on its next Android update. Android 4.4.3 is expected to be a maintenance release that will address a number of open issues including a bug that can wreak havok with the Google Nexus 5’s battery life. A number of builds have recently cropped up to suggest that Google is testing this latest build and making further updates as needed. Recent builds, including KTU65, KTU72B and KTU83, have been spotted running on both the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7. You can now add the even more recent KTU84D to the list.

The usually reliable @LlabTooFeR provides no details beyond the latest build number but presumably the changelog will not be very different from what we saw last week.
There is still no official word confirming Android 4.4.3 KitKat let alone a release date. When it does launch, you can expect it to quickly roll out to both Nexus and Google Play edition devices.
