With its HTC One (M8) for Windows announcement behind it, HTC today began to send out press invitations to a new event set to take place in Berlin, Germany as part of IFA 2014. The HTC IFA breakfast will take place on September 4, 2014 and attendees will get to “see what’s next for smartphones.”
The invitation reveals little about these upcoming smartphones but they will likely include new devices sporting 64-bit processors like the recently revealed HTC A11 powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 which will likely launch as a new Desire device.
With Qualcomm also promising that devices using its new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, a 64-bit SoC with integrated LTE, are coming soon, perhaps HTC will also unveil a second and more powerful device using this processor at the event.
There have also been rumours that HTC would jump into the smartwatch market with an Android Wear device around the time of IFA 2014. Could it unveil such a device at its breakfast event as well?
