HTC has already promised to release Lollipop updates for the HTC One (M8) and HTC One (M7) within 90 days of the launch of Android 5.0. With the Google Nexus 9 which comes pre-loaded with Lollipop now on sale, HTC Canada took to Twitter to confirm to Canadians that it will update the HTC One (M8) and HTC One (M7) within 90 days “from today.”

A quick look at the calendar suggests that both devices will be updated by February 1, 2015. This of course assumes that carriers will be able to complete their usual certifications within this time frame as well.
At last word, HTC was still working on update schedules for the HTC One mini and HTC One mini 2. No information about these devices was provided today, leaving owners in the dark for now although details could be coming “soon:”
For other HTC device owners, we'll have updates to share soon! #HTCAdvantage
