Google launched the red Nexus 5 on Google Play early last month. Valentine’s Day may be gone but you can still get your hands on it and it is now coming to Canadian carriers as well. First out of the gate is Videotron which started to offer it today but other carriers are expected to carry it as well very shortly.
As with the black and white versions which Videotron already offers, the red version is currently available for as little as C$0 with a two-year contract with a monthly service fee of CA$69.95 or more up to CA$499.95 outright (more expensive than the CA$399 through Google Play).
Videotron is only carrying the 16GB version but you can pick up the 8GB through Google Play (we recommend the 16GB version though as the Nexus 5 does not come with a microSD card slot).
According to Mobile Syrup, the red Google Nexus 5 is also coming to TELUS and WIND Mobile within days.
