There is good news today for Canadian owners of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 update is now rolling out across our fair land. In fact, the update will upgrade devices to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Reports so far point to the update hitting devices on the Bell Mobility, Rogers Wireless and TELUS Mobility networks.
The update weighs in at upwards of 400MB.
If you have yet to receive a notification about the update on your Samsung Galaxy S4, you can trigger a manual check via Settings -> About phone -> System Updates -> Check now.
According to the latest update to the Rogers OS Upgrade schedule, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4 update will follow by the end of the month. As usual, the “release dates are subject to change” caveat is in effect.
