An alleged list of Samsung Galaxy S5 models bearing SM-G900x numbers surfaced this week. It revealed quite a few variants, including some that had surfaced in earlier rumours and many more that had not. Among them is the SM-G900P_NA_SPR which is the version that Sprint is expected to carry. Giving credence to this rumour is the fact that the UAProf (user profile) file for the SM-G900P is now available on Sprint’s website.
Best of all, this UAProf reveals a number of details about the Galaxy S5. Here is what we can expect:
- Operating system: Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat
- Cellular connectivity: LTE/HSPA+/EV-DO Rev-B/TD-SCDMA (based on Qualcomm MDM9615)
- Other connectivity: Bluetooth, DLNA
- Display: Full HD (1080×1920)
- RAM: 2GB
- Internal storage: 16GB
- External storage: microSD cards up to 64GB
- Rear-facing camera: 13MP
- Front-facing camera: 2MP
While the Sprint file does not reveal the size of the display itself, details about the LG U+-bound SM-G900L suggests it will be a 5.1-inch display.
The file also reveals some of the preloaded apps that the SM-G900P will come with. They include Visual Voicemail, Lumen, Lookout, Scout, Sprint TV, Sprint Music Plus, Next Radio, 1Weather, CBS Sports, Messaging Plus, Sprint Worldwide App, V8 Widget and VoWiFi.
Here’s a sample of the file’s contents:

This latest information again points to the SM-G900x line will not come with a WQHD (2560×1440) display. Samsung may save that for a premium edition of the Galaxy S5 instead (assuming there even is one) or a new higher-end family.
