Motorola is widely expected to formally unveil its Moto 360 smartwatch at its September 4 press event. While many details are already known, one that has remained elusive is pricing. Rumours have ranged from US$249, a price mentioned by Motorola itself in contest rules, to upwards of US$450. Best Buy USA today appears to have inadvertently launched its product page and revealed the smartwatch’s price tag. If correct, it will sell for US$249.99.

There are no major surprises here except that earlier rumours had suggested a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The Best Buy page also does not mention wireless charging. On the positive side and despite rumours to the contrary, the specifications posted also confirm that the watch case will be made of stainless steel. It will also be compatible with “most devices with an Android 4.3 or later operating system.”
The listing does not provide a launch date, saying only that it is “coming soon.” The Moto 360 does not appear on Best Buy’s Canadian website and its availability here is still unclear.

Wi-Fi ??? This is major surprise.
It would be it if turns out to be true. It could also be a mistake.
