The Samsung Galaxy S5 will make its Canadian debut (as well as a few other places around the globe) on April 11, 2014. Canadian carriers rushed to put up landing pages for the upcoming smartphone but only Rogers Wireless began to almost immediately take reservations and shortly after pre-orders (with a special promotion to boot). Both Bell Mobility and TELUS Mobility have now caught up with their competitor and started taking Galaxy S5 pre-orders as well.
Bell is taking pre-orders for both 2-year contracts and no-term agreements with the Galaxy S5 going for CA$249.95 and CA$699.95 respectively.
TELUS on the other hand is warning that “Due to limited stock, we are accepting pre-orders on 2-year terms. Month-to-month purchases will be added as more stock becomes available.” Its pricing starts at CA$229.99 with the two-year contract.
Both carriers are offering the Samsung Galaxy S5 in either Charcoal Black or Shimmery White.
