Samsung announced its new Galaxy Tab 4 lineup with 7-, 8- and 10.1-inch models last Tuesday. Belkin quickly followed up with a new keyboard and a collection of covers to go with the new tablets. In all, five new products were announced including three specifically for the Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1).
“Belkin’s folios for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 are created to enhance the primary ways consumers are using their tablets – as laptop replacements and for watching online media,” said Ana Hory, director of product management for Belkin’s tablet accessory business. “With Belkin’s new line of Galaxy Tab 4 accessories, we’ve added our award-winning Qode Slim Style Keyboard to the mix and created some of the thinnest and lightest folios on the market.”
For the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1), Belkin unveiled the Qode Slim Style Keyboard Case (pictured above) which combines a Bluetooth keyboard and folio case into a single accessory. Along with Belkin’s exclusive TruType keys, it comes with Android-specific shortcut keys, the ability to set up the tablet at multiple viewing angles, and a handheld mode whereby the keyboard tucks under the tablet when not needed. It will sell for US$99.99.
For those who don’t need the keyboard, Belkin is offering the Slim Style Cover which features the same lightweight design and foldable design that offers multiple viewing angles as well as the MultiTasker Cover made of leather and offering storage for a stylus and business cards. They will respectively sell for US$49.99 and US$59.99.
Belkin also announced the Shield Fit Cover for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (8.0) and the TriFold Cover for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (7.0) . Each offers two viewing angles for their respective tablets. Both will sell for US$39.99.
Belkin’s line of Galaxy Tab 4 cases will be available online at Belkin.com and at select retailers worldwide starting in late April.
