AT&T first announced that the ASUS PadFone X, the smartphone that can turn into a tablet, back at CES 2014. Nearly six months later, it announced today that it would begin to take pre-orders for the smartphone-tablet hybrid on June 6. AT&T will offer the PadFone X both alone and with its tablet docking base, starting at US$0.00 and US$199.99 respectively with a two-year contract.

AT&T will offer the ASUS PadFone for free with a two-year contract or US$199.99 with a two-year contract.
