Following the release of iOS 7.1 in March, Apple today has released a further update. iOS 7.1.1 is a minor update aimed at addressing some issues introduced with its predecessor.
iOS 7.1.1 comes with the following:
- Further improvements to Touch ID fingerprint recognition
- Fixes a bug that could impact keyboard responsiveness
- Fixes an issue when using Bluetooth keyboards with VoiceOver enabled
To check and download the update, go to Settings > General > Software Update and select ‘Download and Install’ once you are prompted that it is available.
iOS 7.1.1 is compatible with the iPhone 4 and more recent models, the iPad 2 and other more recent iPads as well as the fifth generation iPod touch.
With Apple widely expected to unveil iOS 8 at WWDC 2014 in early June, it’s unlikely that Apple will release many more updates for iOS 7.1 between now and then.
