TELUS brings world’s fastest wireless technology to Cobourg and Port Hope
Cobourg, ON – TELUS has brought the world’s fastest and most advanced wireless technology to Cobourg and Port Hope. This expansion of TELUS’ 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) service to these communities means residents can take advantage of dramatically faster wireless Internet speeds when surfing the web, reading emails, listening to music, watching videos, or using social media sites on an LTE-enabled smartphone or wireless device.
TELUS’ 4G LTE service, which offers customers wireless data (upload and download) speeds two to three times faster than previous technology, now covers 80 per cent of Canada’s population across more than 200 communities.
