The Sony Xperia Z2 first came to light last week. Billed as a “minor update” to the Xperia Z1, it could be unveiled at CES 2014. Now a picture of an unknown Sony device has surfaced. Could it be the first picture we have of the Xperia Z2?
The picture reveals little but does show what appears to be a very slim device. Unfortunately, the image provides no context for size so it could well be the Xperia Z2, a completely different upcoming model or even simply a doctored image of an existing device. Given that the image appears to have retouched with sections blurred out, we’ll go with the third option as our first choice at this time.
Let’s hope that more information about the Sony Xperia Z2 surfaces quickly to shed more light on this image and the device itself. For now, all that we know is that it will reportedly come with a larger 5.2-inch FHD (1080×1920) display, a slightly faster 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and 3GB of RAM instead of 2GB.
