Sony is hosting a couple of events on Tuesday, June 25th, one in Germany and another at Mobile Asia Expo 2013. It’s likely that it will use the events to unveil a new smartwatch along with some new smartphones, including the oft-rumoured Xperia Z Ultra phablet.
Just ahead of its expected announcement, new pictures of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra (or Xperia ZU) have surfaced courtesy of Hong Kong’s ePrice. Among them is an image that suggests that the Xperia Z Ultra may not come with a stylus but could still work with stylus-like items as you can see above.

If I understand the Google translation of the article, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra will, like the Xperia Z, be waterproof. It will reportedly sport a magnesium case in either black or white. It could also appear in purple.
There is no word yet on availability and pricing but those details could be available as early as tomorrow.
As for other devices that could be announced, Sony is also expected to unveil a new mid-range device known as the Xperia C.
