On the heels of its announcement of its water-resistant Sony Smartwatch 2 earlier this week, Sony Mobile Communications is reportedly thinking of grow its SmartWatch line from one model to several. Plans are already far along enough that, cccording to Digitimes, Sony is already looking for manufacturing partners.
Sony’s plan would be to offer different models at different price points and different market segments.
Each new model that Sony moves forward with could result in orders of up to one million units.
No timelines or specific details about these new models were available yet.
