With just over a month to go before IFA 2013 kicks off in Berlin, speculation continues to grow that Samsung will return to the event with a number of new devices. A report by Korea’s Asia Economic is the latest to suggest that Samsung will hold its latest Unpacked event on September 4th, two days before the conference kicks off.
Along with the Samsung Galaxy Note III, Samsung will unveil the Gear smartwatch. Little is known about the smartwatch which could bear model number SM-V700. It was recently spotted on its way to a Samsung testing facility in India along with prototypes of the Galaxy Note III sporting different display sizes.
As for the Samsung Galaxy Note III, it is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and Google Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, a 5.7-inch display, support for LTE-Advanced connectivity and sport a 5.7-inch display, 3GB of RAM and a 13MP camera.
Samsung has unveiled both the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note II at IFA events. Last year’s event also saw Samsung use the event to introduce other devices, including its ATIV lineup with its first Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Samsung ATIV S and the Galaxy Camera.
