The Galaxy Note III may not be the only Note tablet Samsung unveils at its Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 press event in a few days. It could be joined by the 12.2-inch Galaxy Note 12.2 as well as the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. A press image has now revealed what Samsung’s largest tablet to date will allegedly look like.
There are few new details to go with the image but the report suggests that the Galaxy Note 12.2 will be a flagship product that shares some design elements with Samsung’s Series 9 devices, themselves considered the top tier of Samsung’s device lineup.
Past rumours suggested that the Galaxy Note 12.2 will come with a 12.2-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) display and support for Samsung’s S-Pen technology along with a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor. Based on the different model numbers we’ve seen to date (SM-P900, SM-P901, SM-P905 among them), Samsung is likely planning a number of variants for different markets.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 could be announced alongside a smaller 10-inch model only known by its model number: SM-P600. It could launch as early as October.
