Rogers has been in the news a lot this week because of the outage that knocked out its wireless network for several hours on Tuesday. This time though, we bring you better news, especially for those looking for an LTE signal in their communities. Rogers earlier this week announced another round of LTE expansion.
15 additional markets will now be able to take advantage of LTE speeds, including a number where Rogers is first to deploy. Rogers LTE is now available in
- Antigonish, Fox Harbour and New Glasgow, Nova Scotia (where Rogers is first)
- Caledon, Midland, North Bay, Peterborough and St. Thomas, Ontario
- Fort St. John and Shawnigan, British Columbia
- Chestermere and Leduc, Alberta
- Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
- Fredericton and Miramichi, New Brunswick
Rogers also announced that is new Share Everything plans are now available to businesses. Much like the consumer plans, they allow a business to pick a data bucket (from 3GG to 30GB) and share it out among any combination of devices (up to 25) including smartphones, tablets, Rocket sticks, hubs or mobile hotspots. Best of all, it all shows up under a single consolidated bill.
