A common practice in the smartphone market is to release new colours in a bid to rekindle customer interest in slightly older devices. The latest to benefit from a new shade is the Samsung Galaxy S4. To date available in Black Mist and White Frost, Bell Mobility and flanker brand Virgin Mobile Canada are now offering it in a third shade called Aurora Red.
Aside from the holiday appropriate new coat of paint, the Samsung Galaxy S4 remains unchanged. Samsung Canada has begun to push out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for it so you’ll likely find yourself upgrading it soon after firing it up for the first time.
Both Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile are now offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 free on a two-year contract or CA$699.95 outright.
It remains to be seen if other shades available, such as purple, will also make their way to Canada.
