Sony this week announced its latest smartwatch, the water-resistant Sony SmartWatch 2, and rumours persist that a number of other manufacturers, including Apple and Samsung, are working on their own smartwatch devices. According to the usually reliable @evleaks, Qualcomm is working on its own-brand smartwatch. Known as ZOLA, there are no further details about it at this point. It’s not even clear if ZOLA is the device’s development codename or will be its official name when it launches.
