Nokia is expected to unveil its first phablet tomorrow at Nokia World 2013. The Lumia 1520 has been the topic of many rumours as itself and as the Bandit and its specifications have surfaced several times again. Two more sightings have effectively confirmed those details now. First up was a tweet from the usually reliable @evleaks and then a product page popped up on Nokia’s own Chinese TMall online store.
The TMall posting reveals little except that the Lumia 1520 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, a 6-inch Full HD (1080×1920) display and a 20MP PureView camera. @evleaks adds a few additional details: 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage, Qi wireless charging with a presumably optional cover, and a choice of three colours: Black, white, yellow. If the listed price holds, expect to pay about US$800 for Nokia’s first phablet.
Oddly, there is no word on a red variant despite leaked pictures allegedly showing one.
With an official announcement only a day away, we should know all about the Nokia Lumia 1520 very shortly.
