Good news today for those who will not be in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to catch Nokia World 2013 on October 22. Nokia today announced that it will livestream the event. The event is set to start at 1100 local time (0800 BST for those in the UK, 0300 EST for some of us and Midnight PST on the west coast).
Nokia will also livestream a second round of webcasts after the main announcement:
These are additional interactive sessions that go into much more detail about… well, whatever is announced in the morning. These sessions have historically been reserved for the press, bloggers, partners and analysts who attend Nokia World, so we’re extremely pleased and excited to be able to offer them here on Conversations, for the first time.
Nokia is expected to announce up to six devices at the event. Among them should be the Nokia Lumia 1520, its 6-inch phablet, and the Nokia Lumia 2520, its first Windows RT tablet. Could the mysterious Nokia Lumia 1320 (codenamed Batman) also make an appearance? It could also announce the Nokia Treasure Tag Bluetooth/NFC accessory along with a refreshed Asha lineup.
Needless to say, you’ll find full coverage of Nokia World 2013 here at EyeOnMobility.
