Nokia today unveiled its Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset (BH-121), better known as the Nokia Guru while it was the topic of rumours. Rather a small media player, it is a compact accessory designed to help you control your smartphone via NFC (or Bluetooth for non-NFC phones).
The Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset features on button located on the top to andle your calls and to play music and volume controls, Bluetooth, and track control buttons arranged along the edges for easy access. The small accessory, measuring only 9 by 39 by 12 millimeters can also be attached to your clothing using the secure clip. It also comes with multi-point support if you want to connect two devices. It comes with a standard 3.5mm audio jack and includes noise blocking in-ear headphones (WH-208).
When connected to your Lumia smartphone, its own Live tile will let you interact with the BH-121 and provide infomation on battery life. It is compatible with a number of Nokia smartphones including the Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 1020 and others as well as the Asha 503 and Asha 501 but without the Live tile support. It comes in the usual Lumia colours: cyan, red, yellow and black.
The Nokia BH-121 Bluetooth Stereo Headset goes on sale in Europe this month for €39 (about CA$57). There is no word yet on availability in Canada and the U.S.
