With the Google Nexus 5 having been made official today, the rumour mill is already turning to new topics. There have already been a few hints about the Moto G (including a short appearance on the Motorola website) and it’s once again in the rumour spotlight today. The usually reliable @evleaks has details and a picture of the upcoming device.
As expected, it appears to be a cheaper variant of the Moto X. Specifications include a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro, a 4.7-inch HD (720×1280) display, an LG-made 1950mAh battery and either 8GB or 16GB of onboard storage. Look for it to be offered for free with two-year contracts.
The image reveals that both black and white models will be available. There is no word on the rumoured backplates in other colours.
