Details about the upcoming Motorola Moto G continues to leak out. Following yesterday’s leak, GSMArena has landed what appears to be a leaked product card from UK retailer Phones4u gives us additional details, including pricing.
As expected, the Moto G, formerly known as the DVX, appears to be aimed at the entry- to mid-range market. The card reveals it will come with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Google Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, a 4.5-inch HD (720×1280) display with Gorilla Glass, quad-band HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 8GB of onboard storage, a 5MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front camera. A reference in the lower left to colour variants suggest that it could have interchangeable backplates in other colours.
As for pricing, it is pegged at £134.95 off contract (about CA$225).
There is no release date yet but it expected to launch before the holidays. There is no word on where it will launch though. Past rumours have hinted at emerging markets. Without LTE, it remains to be seen how many North American carriers will pick it up. One that was mentioned in an earlier rumour is Republic Wireless, a prepaid U.S. carrier.
