More pictures of Research In Motion’s all-touch BlackBerry 10 smartphone have surfaced. The device, which could be known as the BlackBerry Z10, is shown next to an Apple iPhone 4S (for a size comparison). For the first time, we see carrier branding on a BlackBerry 10 device. The device on the lft sports a Verizon logo on the top left.
BusinessInsider‘s source also provided a number of first impressions after testing both AT&T and Verizon variants:
- The build quality is really nice. The back cover feels rubbery and snaps on sort of like the back cover on Samsung’s Galaxy S III.
- The screen looks great.
- The web browser is very quick, just as fast as a desktop browser. It also supports Flash.
- You can set up separate profiles for work and personal use. This is good for people who want to use one phone for business and play.
- The new AppWorld store looks a lot like the Google Play store for Android apps.
- It only takes one minute to boot up.
Research In Motion will unveil BlackBerry 10 and its first BlackBerry 10 devices in less than a month now at a series of worldwide events.
