Do you remember all the Microsoft Surface phone rumours that followed the launch of the first generation of Surface tablets? They have been quiet for a while now but the launch of Microsoft’s second generation tablets, the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2, may reawaken them.
Should stories about such a device come to light, it might well look like this concept by Jonas Daehnert. It’s quite a departure from Nokia’s line of colourful Lumia devices with its more angular and industrial look.
Microsoft recently unveiled its second generation Surface tablets. Inspired by the Surface 2, it comes with a 4.7-inch Full HD (1080×1920) and is only 7 millimeters thick. It would likely be powered by Windows Phone 8 and ConceptPhones throw in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and a magnesium case for good measure.
On a side note, let us know below if you would like to see more concept devices on EyeOnMobility. We’re thinking of featuring a concept device perhaps once a week to give a peek into where smartphone fans and designers see the market evolving.
