LTE-enabled Google Nexus 7 now available in Canada via Google Play

The LTE-enabled version of the Google Nexus 7 went on sale in the U.S. about a week ago. There is good news for Canadians today as it has also made its way north of the border and is now available through Google Play.

Specifications wise, it is nearly identical to the Wi-Fi version except that it only comes in the 32GB variant. As for its cellular connectivity, it comes unlocked with support for the following bands:

  • LTE: 700/850/1700/1800/1900/2100 MHz
  • HSPA+: 850/900/1900/2100/AWS (1700/2100) MHz
  • GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz

The LTE-enabled Google Nexus 7 supports the LTE networks of Bell, Rogers and TELUS (along with their respective flanker brands) as well as HSPA+ for Eastlink, Mobilicity and WIND Mobile among others.

The LTE-enabled Google Nexus 7 sells for CA$349.  It is currently in stock with shipment in one to two days.
