Rumours of a successor to the LG Optimus G successor have been floating around almost as long as the LG flagship has been available. Recent rumours suggested that this follow-up device, the LG Optimus G2, might only launch in the fall with the latest version of Android (expected to be Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie). Rumours also pointed to another device, the LG GK, with a 5.5-inch FHD display set to be announced at MWC.
A leaked slide obtained by Engadget paints a slightly different picture. It reveals a device called the Optimus G Pro:
The rumoured LG Optimus G specifications are:
- Processor: 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064
- Operating system: Google Android Jelly Bean
- Cellular connectivity: LTE
- Display: 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080)
- Input: Touchscreen
- Memory: 2GB RAM
- Storage: 32GB onboard
- Rear-facing camera: 13MP
- Front-facing camera: 2.4MP
- Battery: 3,000mAh

The LG Optimus G Pro is headed to Japan’s NTT DoCoMo with One-Seg and NOTTV functionality in tow. Plans for availability in other regions is not clear at this time. It also remains to be seen if LG will announce it at MWC 2013 (perhaps alongside the LG GK). Pricing has also not been revealed.
