A new LG smartphone has popped up in a couple of different places. The LGE LTE Phone(LG-E980)has not only been certified by the Bluetooth SIG but its UAProf (User-Agent Profile) file is now up on the LG website as well. Between the two, we can say that the LG-E980 will come with a Full HD display (size unspecified), Android, and LTE/HSPA/EDGE/GPRS and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
So let’s conjecture a little bit. Could it be:
- An LTE version of the Google Nexus 4 (LG-E960)
- The mysterious LG GK with 5.5-inch FHD display and quad-core processor that LG is expected to unveil at MWC
- An LG Optimus G variant given that it bears model number LG-E970 (as well as E971/E973/LS970 for market variants)
- The LG Optimus G2
Feel free to chime in below with your thoughts while we see if we can dig up more on the LG-E980.
