Samsung this morning announced plans to unveil something new at IFA 2013 at its Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 event. It looks like HTC wants a piece of the action as well today. It taken to Facebook with a teaser of its own, hinting at “Big things ahead.”
The Instagram video (also available on Vine) reveals little. It shows a chopper landing before someone leaps out to high-five someone else. The tagline “Here’s to Change” follows before the the video ends with HTC calling itself the “Happy Telephone Company.”
With HTC having recently signed Robert Downey Jr. in a two-year marketing deal worth $12 million to promote the company’s smartphones, could it be him leaping out of the chopper, perhaps on his way to an announcement for the HTC One Max, the HTC phablet that could take on the Samsung Galaxy Note III?
Let’s hope that additional teasers shed a bit more light on what HTC has in mind.
