Given the number of rumours about a new HTC tablet that surfaced in the days and weeks leading up to IFA 2013, many expected the Taiwanese manufacturer to unveil the tablet at last week’s event. Instead, HTC unveiled the HTC Desire 601 and Desire 300, a mid-range and entry level smartphone respectively. With no tablet announcement, the phablet rumours are back.
@evleaks, who just shot down the latest Google Nexus 5 rumours, has “confirmed” that the HTC T6 tablet will indeed launch as the HTC One max (no capital on max though). Given that we already have the HTC One and the smaller HTC One mini, the name almost confirms itself.
HTC One max confirmed as retail name of the T6.

No additional details were provided about the HTC One max but past rumours indicate that it will come with a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, a 5.9-inch Full HD (1080×1920) display, an UltraPixel rear camera, a 2.1MP camera and a 3,300mAh battery.
There is still no word on when HTC will launch the HTC One max.
