It would appear that we are not quite done with product announcements for 2013. While rumours continue to circulate that Google will finally announce its next generation Nexus 10 tablet (built by LG?) in the coming days (perhaps as early as today), HTC has gone ahead and sent out press invitations for an event set for November 27.
The event will take place in Asia and will focus on its Desire family of devices. Consisting of devices such as the Desire 601 and Desire 300 (the former available in Canada from a number of carriers including Rogers, Fido and SaskTel) as well as the older Desire 500 and Desire 200, it is a line geared at the entry and mid-level markets and there is nothing to suggest that this will change with this announcement.
In fact, it remains to be seen if HTC will introduce new devices or simply introduce its current lineup to new markets. VR-Zone suggests we could see a new Desire 700 device (with dual-SIM support).
We’ll let you know what HTC unveils on November 27 – or before if any interesting rumours surface.
