Samsung introduced a new finish when it unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) at IFA 2013. The two devices feature a faux leather finish with stitched edges look. It now appears that the same design could be making its way to a new ATIV Book 9 laptop next year. A leaked picture reportedly shows what this new model, called the ATIV Book 9 Style, would look like.
The new device was apparenly shown off at a Samsung S Academy event. A person attending the event managed to snap the picture and later posted it on Korean website Seeko.
Other details about the ATIV Book 9 Style are slim but it will come with Windows 8.1 and four 2W speakers for improved audio. It could sport a 15.6-inch display as well.
Samsung could also expand the use of this new look to other mobile devices in the future. Should the Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone come with a plastic body, it appears likely that it will use this look as well.
Samsung is expected to unveil new ATIV Book 9 laptops (possibly with other models) next month at CES 2014.
