New images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note III have surfaced courtesy of TechKiddy. These latest images reportedly come from a Samsung testing centre in China. The blurry shots show what appears to be large devices laid out (or strewn in some cases) on tables. It’s hard to tell much ut the design does appear very reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy S4.
A separate leak courtesy of SIM Only Radar appears to have obtained images from the training manual for the Galaxy Note III. The drawings again show a device very similar to the Galaxy S4:
One of the images also appears to reveal some now familiar specifications:
- Processor: Samsung Exynos 5 Octa or 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800
- Operating system: Google Android Jelly Bean
- Other connectivity: A-GPS, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
- Display: 5.7-inch AMOLED
- Rear-facing camera: 13MP with Xenon flash
It once again appears that Samsung will use different processors for different markets. The North American variant could come with the Snapdragon 800 while the international version will sport Samsung’s own Exynos 5 Octa. It is even possible that the latter will sport the new version of the octa-core processor that Samsung is set to unveil next week.
As for the Samsung Galaxy Note III itself, it is widely expected to be announced at IFA 2013 in early September in Berlin.
