Momentum appears to be gathering behind rumours that the LG-V510 will indeed be an LG-built Nexus tablet. Following the leak of an alleged service manual for the LG-V510 comes word from the usually reliable @evleaks that it is indeed a Nexus device although he’s coy as to which model it could be.

The tweet reveals little in itself but does give credence to recent the recent rumours that Google may launch a Nexus 8 tablet. The leaked service manual showed a device with an 8.3-inch display WUXGA (1920×1200/273PPI) display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera and a 4,600mAh battery. Dimensions were the same as those of the LG G Pad 8.3 which bears model number LG-V500.
The LG-V510, whether it be a Nexus 8, a Nexus 10 as some rumours suggested or something else entirely has also obtained its Bluetooth SIG certification.
It’s not clear where this leaves the Google Nexus 10. Has Google opted to replace it with the smaller Nexus 8 or will both eventually be announced? Hopefully a Google announcement will soon shed light on this question.
It should be noted that @evleaks points out that this was a tip, something that he normally does not do. A healthy pinch of salt is recommended for now.
