Another day, another BlackBerry A10 (codenamed Aristo) leak. We’ve seen pictures of the front and back of the device as well as a video but specifications have remained a bit of a mystery except for a few key ones. Now it appears that we have the full specifications courtesy of a leaked internal BlackBerry presentation. Here is what we can look forward to:
- Processor: 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 with quad-core GPU
- Operating system: BlackBerry OS 10.2
- Cellular connectivity: LTE/CDMA/HSPA+ or LTE/HSPA+
- Other connectivity: 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, NFC, DLNA
- Display: 5-inch HD (720×1280/295PPI) OLED
- RAM: 2GB
- Internal storage: 16GB
- External storage: MicroSD cards up to 64GB (hot-swappable)
- Rear-facing camera: 8MP with flash
- Front-facing camera: 2MP
- Connectors: Micro-USB, micro-HDMI out
- Battery: Non-removable 2,800mAh
- Dimensions: 140.7 × 72 × 9.4 millimeters (Verizon model: 9.7 millimeters)
This latest document appears to put a nail in the coffin of the rumour that the A10 would come with a removable back panel.
These specifications also are not far off from what we saw back in October 2012. The quad-core processor is gone, possibly over battery life concerns, and the display is larger but other specifications line up fairly well.
Availability and pricing details are still not known but the BlackBerry A10 is expected to launch in time for the holiday shopping season.
