The BlackBerry Q5 will launch in Canada next week. When BlackBerry made the announcement, it revealed that Bell, Fido, Koodo, SaskTel, TELUS, and Virgin Mobile Canada would all carry it starting on August 13th but it did not provide pricing information. MobileSyrup today obtained these details for a number of the carriers.
Bell and TELUS will offer the BlackBerry Q5 in either black or white for CA$49.99 on a two-year contract or CA$425 outright. Virgin Mobile which will also have an exclusive red model will offer it for CA$49.95 on a two-year contract or CA$399.99 outright.
Koodo had also previously listed the BlackBerry Q5 briefly on its website for CA$350. It remains to be seen if that price will hold.
