The evidence continues to grow that Samsung will soon unveil a new Galaxy S4 variant powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The Samsung GT-I9506 has now surfaced over at the Bluetooth SIG’s website.
The certification information does not reveal much except to confirm that like the earlier models, the GT-I9506 will come with Bluetooth 4.0.
It’s not clear whether the more powerful processor will be the only difference between the GT-I9506 and the older international GT-I9500 with an Exynos 5 Octa processor and the North American GT-I9505 with a Snapdragon 600 processor.
There is no word yet on availability and pricing at this point. Could Samsung unveil the GT-I9506 at IFA 2013 in early September alongside the Galaxy Note III? Or will it do so earlier?
