We learned earlier this week that the next BlackBerry 10 flagship device will likely launch as the BlackBerry Z30. With a 5-inch display, it will be bigger than the Q5 with its 3.1-inch display (and QWERTY display) and the BlackBerry Z10 with its 4.2-inch display. But how much bigger remained unanswered until today. CrackBerry has obtained pictures that show all three device, finally giving us a good sense of how large this smartphone will be.
Aside from the size comparison, the images also reveal one new detail. The larger Z30 will sport five rows of app icons whereas the Z10,Q10 and Q5 all sport only four such rows.
Formerly known as the BlackBerry A10 or Aristo, the Z30 is expected to come with the aforementioned 5-inch HD (720×1280/295PPI) OLED display, a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, BlackBerry 10.2, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for additional storage, an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera and a non-removable 2,800mAh battery. An earlier rumour provided dimensions of 140.7 by 72 by 9.4 millimeters.
The BlackBerry Z30 is expected to launch in time to be available for the holiday shopping season.
