BlackBerry unveiled its new BlackBerry Z30 phablet yesterday. It also announced that it would first launch in the UK and Middle East next week with other regions to follow. No Canadian launch details were provided but TELUS has already put up a landing page for the new device, confirming that it will offer it as soon as it can.
Also on board so far are Bell and MTS but the BlackBerry Z30 has yet to make it onto their websites. It’s likely we’ll hear from other carrriers in the days coming as well.
The BlackBerry Z30 is not a huge departure from the BlackBerry Z10 but it offers a larger 5-inch display, a slightly faster processor and will come preloaded with BlackBerry 10.2. It also promises better sound quality with BlackBerry Natural Sound that will make BBM Voice and BBM Video chats “sound more natural and realistic. BlackBerry Natural Sound lets you hear nuances and variations in tone, making conversations sound like you’re in the same room.”
Pricing details have not been announced yet.
