A number of images of the upcoming BlackBerry A10 (codename Aristo) have already surfaced in past weeks. Now comes a nearly four minute video of the device along with a number of additional images courtesy of Vietnamese website Tinhte.vn (the same folks who already captured the BlackBerry Z10 and Moto X on video before their announcements).
The report lists the same specifications as we saw earlier. Tinhte.vn reports that the display was not AMOLED but this could be due to the fact that it’s a pre-production device.
- Processor: 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 with quad-core GPU
- Operating system: BlackBerry OS 10.2
- Cellular connectivity: LTE/CDMA/HSPA+ or LTE/HSPA+
- Other connectivity: 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, NFC, DLNA
- Display: 5-inch HD (720×1280/295PPI) OLED
- RAM: 2GB
- Internal storage: 16GB
- External storage: MicroSD cards up to 64GB (hot-swappable)
- Rear-facing camera: 8MP with flash
- Front-facing camera: 2MP
- Connectors: Micro-USB, micro-HDMI out
- Battery: Non-removable 2,800mAh
- Dimensions: 140.7 × 72 × 9.4 millimeters (Verizon model: 9.7 millimeters)
Compared to the smaller Z10 with its 4.2-inch display, it appears that BlackBerry has done a good job of fitting a larger display in a device not much larger than the Z10. It also appears to have more rounded corners than the Z10.

The BlackBerry A10 is expected to launch later this year. Specific availability and pricing details have yet to surface though.
