We were treated to a leaked picture of the front of the upcoming BlackBerry A10 yesterday. Today, images of the alleged back cover have surfaced courtesy of CrackBerry.
Much like the BlackBerry Q10, the back of the A10 appears to be made of woven glass with a ridged pattern. The overall shape is reminiscent of the Z10’s but appears to be larger as you would expect from a device that will reportedly come with a 5-inch display. The images also reveal an AT&T logo, indicating that at least one U.S. carrier might already be onboard to carry BlackBerry’s next flagship device.
As CrackBerry points out, BlackBerry played with a number of casing variants for the Q10 before settling on a final design. It could be that it is taking the same approach with the A10. Best for now to take these pictures with a healthy pinch of salt. At the rate images are leaking, corroborating or contradicting information should surface soon.
The BlackBerry A10 will reportedly come with a dual-core processor, the aforementioned 5-inch HD (720×1280) Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM and BlackBerry 10.2.
A fall launch is expected for the BlackBerry A10.
