While Bell has posted its ‘coming soon’ banner on the upcoming Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1, it has yet to reveal specific launch dates and pricing details. Leaked internal documents have now provided us with those details.
Both the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1 will launch on October 15. While the Xperia Z1 is headed to other carriers as well (with Rogers as the exclusive carrier of the purple version), the Xperia Z Ultra will be a Bell exclusive.
The Xperia Z1 will sell for CA$699.95 outright while the Xperia Z Ultra will sell for CA$799.95. There is no word yet on contract pricing.
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD (1080×1920) TRILUMINOS display as well as a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Google Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (with Android 4.3 on the way), LTE connectivity, an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera and a 3,000mAh battery. Like other recent high-end Sony Xperia devices, it is both dust and waterproof.
