IF 2013 is shaping up to be quite the event for new product introductions. HTC is expected to use the event to unveil the HTC One Max, Sony will announce the Xperia Z1 and its new Internet Player dongle and Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note III along with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Not to be left out, ASUS has now posted a teaser on its Facebook page about an upcoming Transformer device.
ASUS is playing its cards close to its chest, promising only:
“We transform your mobility! Yes, a new generation is coming, but of which product?”
With recent signs pointing to a new convertible Transformer Pad tablet and the teaser image showing some kind of Android tablet, it appears likely that a successor to the Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700) is indeed coming in mere days.
If recent benchmarks are any indication, the new ASUS Transformer tablet will come with a 1.9GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, Google Android 4.2.2 and what is likely a 10-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) display.
All should be revealed in four days!
