There have been hints and a few rumours about what we will see at next year’s CES which kicks off in 26 days. But ASUS today kicked things off with a countdown to its keynote on January 6, one day ahead of the official trade show start but nonetheless a day filled with announcements and presentations.
With the tagline “In search of excellence,” ASUS asks us to join them ” to witness how ASUS products weave technology into the fabric of our daily lives.” Needless to say, there are no hints yet as to what ASUS could have in mind but at least two sneak peeks are “coming soon.”
ASUS has in years past used CES to announce a number of tablets. For example, in 2012 it unveiled the Transformer Prime TF700T with its WUXGA display and two 7-inch Eee Pad MeMO tablets, one of which eventually became the first Google Nexus 7 tablet.
The keynote will take place on Monday, January 6, at 1200 PT (1500 ET). ASUS will also livestream the keynote for those not making their way down to the event.
