Just a friendly reminder that iOS 7, the latest version of its mobile operating system, began rolling out earlier today to iPhones, iPads and iPod touch devices across the world.
Apple iOS 7 comes with a major user interface design that opts for a flatter and cleaner look and eschews the skeuormorphic design philosophy of previous versions. It also comes with a new Control Center, AirDrop for iOS, and much improved multitasking. The camera software and the Safari browser have both also been improved and Siri even shed its beta label. The App Store also has gotten better and now includes Apps Near Me, a feature that shows you popular apps releveant to your current location.
iOS 7 is compatible with the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, the iPad 2, the iPad with Retina display, iPad Mini and the iPod Touch 5th generation. Note that not all iOS 7 features may work on all devices and there may also be geographical restrictions.
