Details continue to emerge about what is likely to be the HTC One’s successor. Still only known as the HTC M8, it now appears to have made an appearance on the AnTuTu benchmarking suite. It appears as the HTC 0P6B120 and Japan’s Blog of Mobile as well as Nowheerlse.fr’s own Steve Hemmerstoffer surmise that this is none other than the HTC M8. The OP6B120 could be HTC’s part number for the M8.
The benchmark score comes in at 36062 and point to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Other specifications include Android 4.4 KitKat, a 5-inch Full HD (1080×1920) display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 4.0MP rear camera (likely the HTC UltraPixel camera again) and a 2.1MP front camera. These specifications line up quite well with an earlier leak, giving them further credence.
The HTC M8 launch is rumoured for sometime in Q1 2014 with HTC Sense 6.0 in tow. Once again, HTC may be looking to have its flagship device out before Samsung launches its next Samsung Galaxy device.
