A new image of the upcoming Google Nexus 5 has surfaced online, this time on the MacRumors forums of all places. The image has since been pulled down but not before a copy popped up over at DroidLife.
The original image poster also claims to have held the device. He describes it as being smaller than the LG G2 (supporting earlier rumours of a smaller 4.96-inch display) with a backcover that feels a lot like that of the new Nexus 7. He adds that the display has thin bezels but is only “ok” and not as good as that on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
The image is very reminiscent of the device that first appeared in the KitKat statue unveiling video. It features a similar camera lens and vertical “Nexus” logo.
The alleged specifications of the Google Nexus 5 also surfaced earlier today.
Past rumours have indicated that Google will unveil the Nexus 5 on October 14 along with Android 4.4 KitKat. It could also unveil a new Nexus 10 built by ASUS at the event.
